Digicert将弃用SSL证书中的 OU字段



为了符合行业标准，根据 CA/B 论坛投票结果，自 2022 年 9 月 1 日 (9/1/22) 起，公共 TLS 证书将弃用 OU，并将在公共 TLS 请求中弃用 OU。DigiCert 将在 2022 年 8 月 24 日之前停用所有公共 TLS/SSL 证书的组织单位 (OaU) 字段。


2022 年 8 月 3 日——Digicert 将允许使用 OU 提交新订单、补发、重复订单的最后一天。 如果您在此日期之后尝试下新订单、重新签发或复制，OU 将不会列在证书上。


为什么要删除 OU 字段？


DigiCert 将弃用组织单位 (OU) 字段以简化证书订购。 OU 字段允许将可选元数据存储在证书中，但是，它的预期用途非常有限，并且受验证要求的约束。 为了减少围绕此可选字段的混淆并帮助缩短验证时间，我们将从未来的订购流程中删除它。

这对我的证书有什么影响？


很快 OU 字段将不再出现在订单中，将在 API 请求中被忽略，并将在所有新的、更新的和重新颁发的公共 TLS 证书中删除。
此更改不会影响以前颁发的具有有效 OU 字段的证书。

这不会影响私有 TLS 证书或其他类型的非 TLS 证书。


同样Sectigo将从7月1日开始，新颁发和重新颁发的SSL证书不再使用OU字段信息，同时，Sectigo计划在4月1日前提供一个可选方案，即为每个账户临时开通“关闭”OU字段功能，以评估此次更改的影响力度。
